The FBI spin-off that we have been waiting for, FBI: Most Wanted, is getting ready for its debut on CBS, and here is everything we know about the new show.

During the first season of the CBS show FBI, an episode called “Most Wanted” saw the introduction of a team known as the Fugitive Task Force. The episode ended up being a big success, and led to CBS ordering a spin-off series that will appropriately go by the name FBI: Most Wanted.

Set to premiere on Jan. 7, the new series will follow its parent show on Tuesday nights. (With the arrival of this new show, NCIS: New Orleans will find itself being moved to a new night to make room for the freshman crime drama.) As Monsters and Critics points out, by having the two shows air on the same night, it opens to door for future crossovers and having characters make guest appearances on both shows.

The star of FBI: Most Wanted is Julian McMahon who will play Jess LaCroix, a seasoned agent who is in charge of the task force. This task force features highly trained agents who are always out in the field and undercover. Their job is to pursue the most wanted fugitives, the people who are desperate to elude capture.

Joining McMahon in FBI: Most Wanted are Kellan Lutz (of Twilight fame) as Ken Crosby, Keisha Castle-Hughes (who some viewers may recognize from Game of Thrones) as Hana Gibson, Roxy Sternberg as Sheryll Barnes, and Nathaniel Arcand as Clinton Skye.

In the teaser trailer for FBI: Most Wanted, which was released on May 15, 2019, it is clear that this team is a well-oiled machine that is determined to bring fugitives to justice. This task force is all about making sure justice is served, not serving it themselves.

Considering we have already seen the team in action on FBI, we have an idea of what we can expect from the task force once the series premieres. However, it will definitely be interesting to see how they expand on what we have already seen. And since it is being said that the show will actually continue the story that they started during the “Most Wanted” episode, it seems like the series will get down to business once it premieres at the start of January.
