We’re back after two weeks of reruns to pick up from that shocking cliffhanger. Here’s the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 winter finale synopsis.

It’s a night of winter finales on CBS on Dec. 17. NCIS: New Orleans will finish off the night with its last episode of the year, and its last episode on Tuesday nights for the time being. Here’s a look at the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 winter finale to get an idea of what to expect.

We’re picking up with that cliffhanger, which saw the team surrounded by Eddie’s followers. And yes, it turns out they’re followers. Eddie is the leader of a cult, which makes him and his cohorts far more dangerous than ever before. It’s no wonder the boat captain was squeaky clean. He didn’t accept a bribe, really. He was willing to keep his leader out of trouble after being brainwashed.

Now Pride and the rest of the NCIS team will need to figure out a way to take Eddie down. The problem is that Pride is cut off from the rest. Eddie has backed him into a corner, and the rest of the team will need to work with the FBI to get him out.

That certainly isn’t going to be easy. Eddie’s followers aren’t just going to let their leader go with the feds. They’ll protect him every step of the way, which puts everyone in danger.

And all the team wants is to get justice for Lasalle. They need to see Eddie behind bars. I’m sure this is going to end up with Eddie dead, though. Is that enough justice? An eye for an eye and all that?

Plus, it’s the NCIS: New Orleans winter finale. What are the chances of this episode ending with another cliffhanger to leave us guessing until February? I want to see justice for Lasalle during this episode. Not to have to wait until the new year.
