Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum PI are among the first shows to return in 2020, and they do it in style. It’s time for the epic crossover event on Jan. 3.

We’re into the new year and that means our favorite TV crime dramas are back. Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum PI are among the first shows to return, and they do it in style together. Jan. 3 will see the epic two-hour crossover event, and it’s time to look at everything we can expect.

If you’re worried about the minor inconsistency with Hawaii Five-0 already acknowledging that there was a Magnum PI TV show, don’t! The writers want you to forget the moment in the helicopter ever happened.

Now we have that out of the way, it’s time to look at what we’re going to see in the two-hour episode. It all kicks off with Hawaii Five-0 Season 10’s midseason premiere. A list of CIA agents who are all undercover goes missing. The team needs the help of Magnum’s team to get the list back. Steve turns to Magnum, Higgins, Rick, and TC for help.

This will give Higgins and Tani a chance to interact, where Higgins is going to offer some personal advice. Will this involve her growing relationship with Junior?

Speaking of Junior, the second hour will focus on getting him back after he’s kidnapped as leverage for the list of undercover agents. The CIA will round up the majority of Five-0 to prevent interference, so Tani and Quinn will head into Magnum PI‘s territory for help.

This two-hour crossover event has been a long time coming and will certainly be exciting to watch. Hands up if you can’t wait! Just check out some of the images from the episode:
