NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 12 synopsis: What to expect in the winter premiere
NCIS: LA Season 11 returns with an exciting winter premiere, titled Groundwork. Here’s a look at everything to expect in the Jan. 5 episode.
We’ve been through the new year celebrations. Now it’s time to see our favorite TV shows to come back. One of those is NCIS: LA. The team is back in the Jan. 5 episode, titled “Groundwork.”
It’s another episode without Hetty. After an exciting 250th episode focused on her, we found out that there’s a chance she’ll retire soon. Sam and Callen are sure that she will, and that brought up a discussion over who would take on her role in the team. It’s going to be a difficult task whoever it ends up being.

But for the winter premiere, Hetty has sent someone she trusts to help the team with the situation. CIA Victoria Stephens is back, and needs the team’s help. She needs to extract a scientist from Nigeria who is a kidnapping risk, and it looks like the team will need to find him and then protect him.
Stephens has another problem. She was almost grabbed in Venice and there’s a strong chance that it’s all connected to the bigger situation. There’s also a chance that it’s connected to the bigger storyline involving a missing Anna, who we know Callen is worried about.
The NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 12 synopsis doesn’t give us too much to work on. And if you were hoping the promo would share more, you’ll be disappointed. This is an episode that the writers want us to be excited about, and the teases have certainly managed that.

"CIA Officer Veronica Stephens (Dina Meyer) asks the NCIS team for help when an agricultural engineer Hetty asked her to bring to the United States disappears."
