FBI’s spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted, will be here before you know it. Here’s what to expect in the series premiere based on the synopsis.

Most series premieres are about introducing the characters and setting up the team. That’s not the case for FBI: Most Wanted. We already got to meet the characters in the backdoor pilot during FBI Season 1. Now it’s time to get straight into the storylines.

What can we expect from the FBI: Most Wanted series premiere? The synopsis will give us a clue.

Titled “Dopesick,” the series is already high on our radar of recommended freshman shows. It was long before we got to see promo material after the exciting backdoor pilot. The promo material has us all the more excited.

According to the synopsis, the team is after a doctor. The police get a phone call that includes a doctor shooting his wife. Now the doctor is on the run and the Fugitive Task Force is tasked with tracking him down and bringing him in.

It’s clear that this man is dangerous. He’s got nothing to lose, and that means he is capable of anything. LaCroix wants to make sure every single team member understands that in the first sneak peek released for the series premiere.

Meanwhile, the second sneak peek gives us a hint at how Kellen Lutz’s Crosby deals with the capture of a wanted fugitive. While not the doctor, it’s someone that the team will want to get off the streets. However, Crosby goes a little overboard and that’s going to warrant a talking to later on in the episode.

Check out the synopsis for the FBI: Most Wanted series premiere and get ready for Jan. 7.
