We have plenty of questions after the shocking turn of events at the end of the SWAT Season 3 winter finale. Will we get answers tonight, Jan. 8?

It’s the new year. That means new episodes of our favorite TV crime dramas, right? Most of the CBS shows are returning tonight, but does that include SWAT Season 3? Will we get the answers to our burning questions tonight, Jan. 8?

If you’re planning on tuning in at 10 p.m. for a new episode of the reboot series, hold your horses. The series isn’t returning this week. However, you’re not waiting too much longer for the answers to your questions.

More from SWAT News

CBS has opted for a two-hour premiere of Criminal Minds, starting the final season with a bang. Since the show starts at 9 p.m., it means that the second hour will take over SWAT‘s timeslot for the week. This isn’t going to last for the entire 15th and final season of the FBI drama, though.

SWAT will return with new episodes on Jan. 15. There will be a few missed weeks here and there (again, due to Criminal Minds), but nothing too much.

Titled “Bad Cop,” the SWAT Season 3 winter premiere promises to offer some answers to our burning questions. We’ll mostly get answers about Jim Street and his next move after the turn of events at the end of the last episode. He’s in a dangerous situation, with both his job and his life on the line.

Meanwhile, Buck returns with a proposition for Deacon. There’s a security detail opportunity but will Deacon partner with Buck on it? This sort of thing usually happens with the police forces for some extra cash, but could also link to the fact that Deacon brought up how he doesn’t bounce back from injuries as quickly anymore.
