Just as Tani and Junior finally looked like they were getting together, something is breaking them apart. Here’s a look at Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 13.

Coming off the back of the exciting Hawaii Five-0/Magnum PI crossover, the shows are back to their regular programming. It’s all starting off with Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 13 tonight, and it looks like we won’t have Junior in the episode.

During a sneak peek, he shared some news with Tani that he’d been called up by the reserves. He needs to leave for a few weeks, and we were just getting excited about finally seeing Tani and Junior together.

More from Hawaii Five-0 News

This likely won’t be for the rest of the series. In recent months, we’ve watched the show sometimes have a player on the bench for a few episodes. That’s been the case for Danny for a few weeks, but he’s back in the action today. The decisions are likely made to help with schedules of the actors and manage the storylines to ensure each character gets enough screentime.

It would seem odd to just quickly write Junior out after he and Tani finally got together. While it could happen in real life, it doesn’t make for great TV. The writers would know that!

But what can you expect in Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 13 tonight? Grover is back and has an interesting case at a pro golf club. A man was frozen to death in the cryotherapy chamber in the locker room. Well, I guess it does use the cold for treatments, but who would decide to put a guy through that? An employee? Another club member? That’s for the Five-0 to figure out.

Meanwhile, Danny is back and needs Steve’s help. They need to track down the father of a kid who has been bullying Charlie. Danny has always been there for Charlie, especially after finding out that Charlie is his son in Season 5. Now we get a chance to see him protect his boy in a way that many parents would, but what will the two partners in crime do when they find the bully’s father?

Check out the promo and synopsis for Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 13:

"Grover and the team investigate a murder at a private golf course involving a man who was frozen to death in the locker room’s cryotherapy chamber; McGarrett tags along with Danny when he tracks down the father of a boy who has been bullying Charlie."

Do expect a drop in the ratings for tonight’s episode. The Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum PI crossover led to a season-high for both shows. For Five-0 alone, the audience was up 22% from the winter finale and the demo up 40%. We’ll likely see the show drop back to normal since this isn’t a “special.”
