Hawaii Five-0 kicked off 2020 with a great start. Will it continue? Is Hawaii Five-0 on CBS tonight, Jan. 17? What’s going on with the schedule?

After a reminder that kids aren’t just mean for the sake of it, Hawaii Five-0 is taking a break from new episodes. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any episodes at all. Here’s what’s going on with the schedule and what to expect when new episodes do return.

Jan. 17 will see a rerun of the Season 9 episode titled “Ho’opio ‘ia e ka noho ali’i a ka ua.” It’s an episode that sees a dangerous hurricane hit the island. Of course, while everyone else is told to take cover, Five-0 has work to do. Some of the team will be out on civilian checks, while others have to guard a serial killer.

For those who haven’t seen enough Danny and were super happy about him being back in the last episode, you’ll want to watch this episode. Rachel and Charlie head to Danny’s place for safety, giving Rachel and Danny a chance to reminisce over the past. There are some beautiful moments as we see how much the two try to do to co-parent their children.

As for new episodes, we’re waiting a while. Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 won’t return with any new episodes until Jan. 31.

The new episode will also see more Danny on our screens (can I get a whoop whoop!?) and this time, he’s involved with someone else. He and his new love interest are heading out for some fun, but they end up in a potentially fatal car accident. Of course, they’re miles from anywhere, which puts their lives at even more of a risk.

Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 14 will also see Steve, Quinn, and Tani try to help Eddie the dog, who is struggling with PTSD. Poor thing!
