Hawaii Five-0 moves back to its former timeslot
Getting ready for your Friday night CBS TV crime dramas? With MacGyver’s Season 4 premiere, it means Hawaii Five-0 is moving back to its former timeslot.
You’ll possibly be looking ahead at your weekend tonight, getting ready for the Friday night TV crime dramas on CBS. Since fall 2019, you’ve been used to seeing Hawaii Five-0 kick off the night, but things are changing. The series is moving to its former timeslot, and I don’t want you to forget!
The longest-running of the current Hawaii-set dramas has been holding well in the first timeslot of the night. It’s helped to offer some sort of audience for Magnum PI Season 2, but it’s time that it got to reclaim its 2018 timeslot. With MacGyver Season 4 premiering, that can happen this week.

This isn’t an episode you want to miss out on, either. We’ve got to know Grover’s niece Siobhan over the last few episodes she’s appeared in, and you just had to know that it was to gear up for something bigger. That something bigger is her being kidnapped from the Police Academy, and it’s at the hands of the Yakuza. Yes, the same Yakuza that Adam is mixed up in.
Siobhan’s boyfriend is working undercover for the Yakuza, but why does he want her? What do they need from her specifically when they could have kidnapped any of the Police Academy trainees. As Steve says in the promo, there’s got to be something bigger to it all.
With her being Grover’s niece, you know that he’s going to want the entire Five-0 on the case. And naturally, they’re not going to say no.
Check out the synopsis for “He Waha Kou o Ka He’e” and get ready for an intense episode. Just don’t forget it’s at a new-old time!
"When Grover’s niece goes missing from the police academy, it’s discovered that her boyfriend is an undercover member of the yakuza."
