While we are going into a three-week break, we have a promo for Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 14. It’s time to break down that promo to get a sense of what to expect.
During the latest episode, the Drew Crew had to find Nancy and get her out of the alternate world she’d found herself in. We got to see what life could have been, and it was certainly an entertaining end to the two-part story. Now it’s time to get back into the first murder mystery that started our series.
Before we break down the promo, you’ll want to check it out for yourself. It doesn’t give too much away and there’s not a synopsis to work with just yet, but it teases enough. If you view promos as spoilers, then be warned that we’re getting really spoilery here.

The car crash put Ace at risk, but both he and Laura made it out alive. Now Laura is back in the picture at Horseshoe Bay. All she wants to know is who killed her sister, so it’s not all that surprising we’re bringing the focus back to that storyline.
4. Nancy has a legit string board
I’ve made a lot of jobs about using a board with string to link everything together and see a pattern. I never thought I’d actually get to see it in Nancy Drew. However, it’s happened. During the 14th episode, we will see Nancy and the Drew Crew using one of these boards. This just makes me all the more excited as a fan of the sleuth.

3. The Drew Crew may try to work with the cops
It looks like Nancy is going to head straight into the police department for help. I’m not sure many people are going to want to work with her, but there are a few who know that she is good at what she does. Somehow, Nancy is getting some footage of Tiffany before she died, so does she have friends in the right places?

2. Back to the first murder mystery
We’ve spent the last few episodes focused on who killed Lucy Sable. That’s not all too surprising considering Nancy’s dad was in jail for her murder; something he didn’t do. Now it’s time to put the focus back on the first murder mystery. Who killed Tiffany Hudson?
1. Lucy may have had something to do with the murder
There’s a moment at the end of the promo that shows Nancy outside in the rain. She looks to be facing Lucy Sable, while saying “you killed her.” Now, this could be just some very good cutting, but it looks like Lucy may have had something to do with Tiffany’s murder. I’m not sure that’s going to fly for the police.
