The case is going to become personal in the latest episode of Prodigal Son. While Jessica focuses on finding more information on the girl who had been in the box, she finds out that someone is after her. In fact, someone is after the entire Whitly family because of a personal vendetta.

This means that Jessica has to do one thing she never thought she’d have to: face her husband. While The Surgeon will be chained up, it’s not going to be easy for Jessica to face him. He’d destroyed their whole family with his psychopathic ways and she wanted to close the door on that forever. It’s just been much easier said than done because of her children’s insistence to have something to do with him.
However, she’s not going to be alone. Malcolm is going with her for some moral support. Something that I’ve loved seeing from the Whitly family has been the growth. They all started off at different points in their life and their acceptance of the past and are moving forward together.
Meanwhile, Ainsley gets a big promotion. It’s clear that this is going to be due to the work she did on her father, and it’s likely going to mean more work is needed on the topic. This could mean some one-on-one time with her dad.
