During the last episode, the team raced against the clock to find and save Lucy Chen. It all ended happily for Lucy’s life, but it’s going to play on her mind. After all, right now, she has a constant physical reminder of the event with the tattoo. It’s not her day of death, but it is the reminder that it almost was.

If anyone, Harper knows what it will be like for Lucy coming back from this. It’s not surprising that she’s going to team up with Lucy to help deal with the aftermath, and Diaz is joining them. They’re off to speed dating. I’m not sure that’s the way to deal with the situation, but it could be linked to a case.
Meanwhile, Nolan will get to know his son’s fiancee, who is interested in being a cop. She joins him on a ridealong, where she’s going to meet Bradford. Could this make her want to join the LAPD for real or is she going to take a step back—and could it lead to a step back from her relationship?
Bradford has a few of his own feelings to work through. He took Lucy’s abduction hard and did everything he could to find her. Now he has his officer back but will he realize his feelings for her are stronger than he thought?
