Nancy Drew needs to solve Lucy’s murder before her dad is wrongly convicted. Here’s a breakdown of the Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 16 to see what to expect.

There are a lot of secrets out on Nancy Drew after the most recent episode. And now, Nancy has Lucy’s bones. It’s time to put the focus solely on finding Lucy’s killer to exonerate her dad.

The problem is that won’t be easy. Nancy didn’t pay the toll, which could mean the sea witches will come back with a vengeance. On top of that, what if Nancy does find out her dad did it all along? And how exactly is she going to explain finding the bones after 20 years?

Hey, there are a lot of questions for the final seven episodes of Nancy Drew. For now, we’re just going to focus on Episode 16. Here’s a breakdown of the promo with the top five points.

Before we get into the promo breakdown, here’s a look at the Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 16 promo and synopsis to get an idea. We’ll get into some teasery details after.

"While using a combination of forensic clues, skilled observation and relentless questioning of those who knew Lucy at the end of her life, Nancy (Kennedy McMann) unravels what happened the night Lucy died. While her detective work succeeds in some ways, it also reveals a devasting truth."

5. Someone at the Claw is in trouble

More from Nancy Drew News

There’s a quick snap of police at the door of the Claw. It looks like George and the others have either barricaded themselves in or they’re just not open yet. Either way, someone is in trouble. Why could anyone be in trouble?

It’s possible that it’s connected to Nancy’s actions in the previous episode or in the upcoming episode. After all, she did tamper with evidence, right?

4. What’s with the eagle?

We see a glimpse of a woman in a pink dress. Is this a flashback of Lucy from 20 years ago? It would certainly make sense, as Nancy and her friends turn to those who knew Lucy back in the day. However, what’s more curious is the eagle on the car. At least, it looks like an eagle. It’s a bird of some type.

Someone may have been following Lucy. This could be the one thing they need to figure out who killed Lucy Sable.

3. Carson is on trial

This shouldn’t be that surprising. We knew in the previous episode that Nancy and her friends were trying to get answers to clear Carson’s name. That didn’t happen despite getting Lucy’s bones. Now it’s time for the trial.

2. Nancy is at an abandoned location

What is it with Nancy going off to things alone? This time, it looks like she’s on her own to an abandoned house. Well, it’s abandoned by the living. It looks like the dead are still there. Will this lead to the final clues to piece together everything?

1. Was it murder after all?

Nancy Drew has believed that Lucy was murdered this whole time. During the promo, she’s clearly talking to Lucy about how she’s spent time trying to solve her murder. The problem is this sounds like Nancy has learned something else. Maybe it wasn’t murder after all. Could it be that Lucy killed herself? Will that be the big twist?

It would be difficult to prove that. It could mean Carson goes down for something he didn’t do.

Of course, we’d then need to know why the Hudsons needed Carson to clean up the mess. So, is Nancy going to find out someone else in her family or someone else she trusted was involved?
