It’s a new week and another Tuesday, so does that mean more NCIS. It should do, but there’s a slight change to the schedule again on Mar. 17.

We’re into another Tuesday and it should mean a night of your favorite TV crime dramas. So, what’s going on with the schedule? Is NCIS on tonight, Mar. 17?

Settle for a St. Patrick’s Day night of reruns. NCIS and FBI both have reruns tonight. FBI: Most Wanted is the only show with a new episode tonight.

This break was planned before the recent shutdown on production of various TV shows. We know that all three NCIS shows have shut down production for their seasons, which will mean they’re a few episodes short of a full season. While none of them have officially been renewed, it’s highly likely that all three will come back for the 2020-2021 season, which will allow the scripts that still needed to be filmed used for the new seasons.

As for the rerun this week, it was all to do with scheduling for May. We can expect more of these one-week breaks to pop up with the shorter season than initially expected.

You’ll get a chance to watch the second episode of the season. This is one that included Ziva, and also saw the entire team find out that Ziva is alive. The team uncovers a terrorist plot, which eventually leads to Gibbs shooting Phineas’s mom to save Ziva.

The next new episode of NCIS Season 17 will air on Mar. 24. At least, that’s the current plan but it could be preempted for various reasons. The episode is titled “Schooled,” and will see Faith back for the episode. She has an unexpected request of Sloane, which catches our profiler off guard.

As for the actual case, the team will search for answers when the body of a Navy technician in the Reserves is found floating in a lake. It happens during a community event, which leads to may questions about how and why the body ended up there.
