NCIS Season 17, Episode 18 sees the team investigate the drowning of a Navy technician and it takes them to a fake school. Here’s the synopsis to see what to expect.

NCIS Season 17, Episode 18 brings an intriguing case of a murdered Navy technician and a potentially fake school. Here’s the synopsis to get an idea of what to expect in the Mar. 24 episode.

One thing I’ll say before getting into the synopsis is that there were plans for a new episode on Mar. 31. Those plans still look to be in place, but CBS could make a few changes in the coming days. There are only a handful of episodes left that are ready to air after the show’s production was shut down due to the coronavirus, so we’re looking at either having a few extra weeks or reruns or the season ending in April instead of May.

But, let’s focus on what we do have coming up. Titled “Schooled,” the synopsis makes it clear that this is a case involving a Navy technician in the Reserves who is found floating in a lake. Close to that murder is a public event. Anybody at that event could have killed the Navy technician, but why would they do that?

Everything will lead the team to a school that isn’t quite a school. The promo sees Bishop and McGee head to the school that has no students and items have been ripped out. Is this why the Navy technician was murdered?

As all this goes on, Sloane’s daughter, Faith, shows up again. She has an unexpected request for Sloane. Is this something linked to the medical forms that Jack filled in a few episodes ago? We’ve been waiting for this to come up again.
