Christopher Lloyd guest stars as a man who says he was at Pearl Harbor on NCIS Season 17, Episode 20. Here’s the synopsis to see what to expect.

NCIS Season 17, Episode 20 sees a special guest star. Christopher Lloyd steps into the role of a man who claims he was at Pearl Harbor. Here’s a look at the synopsis to get an idea of what to expect in the April 14 episode.

Lloyd plays the role of a man called Joe Smith. It’s easy to see from that name why there are questions over the story he’s telling. Joe claims that he was on the U.S.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor. When he dies, he wants to be buried on the ship with those he fought alongside.

More from NCIS News

Before NCIS can even agree to something like that—or find someone who can agree to that—Gibbs and co. need to figure out whether Joe even served on the ship. Is he just someone who wishes he did? Someone who was at Pearl Harbor but not on the ship?

I’m sure there will be some excellent moments between Mark Harmon and Christopher Lloyd throughout the episode. Joe Smith is described as “sharp, spry, and an unapologetic curmudgeon,” which means plenty of moments where his personality and Gibbs’s personality will clash.

There seems to be some conflict between the team based on some of the images. That’s not all too surprising. These types of cases always bring out the various personalities within the team. They all bring their own experiences and options, which can help to get the job done quicker.

This episode is going to serve as the season finale by the looks of things. While it wasn’t officially noted in the promo, there isn’t a new episode for the next few weeks and it would seem odd now to opt for a few weeks off and then to bring the finale. After all, other shows are airing their finales on CBS. What a way to end the season, even if it wasn’t planned!
