It’s the penultimate episode of NCIS: LA Season 11. What can we expect? Here’s the NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 21 synopsis to find out.

As is usually the case with NCIS: LA, there’s a main story and a fun side story in the Season 11 penultimate episode. What exactly can we expect from the team? Here’s a look at the NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 21 synopsis to find out.

Titled “Murder of Crows,” the main story involves one from the past. The team is tasked with helping a former tech operator. When her ex-partner is missing, the entire team believe that he could be working with the enemy.

How does this connect to the past? The synopsis tells us that the gun runners the ex-partner may be working with are part of a failed operation a few years ago. What we don’t get to know is whether this is a failed operation that we once got to watch. It’s not often that the team fails on screen, or the storyline is usually brought up relatively quickly after to finish things up.

A major concern for this storyline in the episode is from the promo. We see Kensi and Fatima head to a house. As that happens, Sam says the two could be walking into an ambush. It certainly looks like they are, but is this just some good cutting?

As for the fun side storyline for NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 21, it involves Deeks again. He tends to be used for the humor throughout episodes, and this time it’s all about his bar. When it receives a negative review, he becomes obsessed with it. He needs to remember that he certainly can’t please everyone.

There is another side storyline that links to an overall plotline throughout the season. Callen shares with Sam that he’s about to put down roots with Anna. Things have moved extremely fast between those two. Will Hetty’s warnings come up? I get the sense that this is something we’ll have to wait for NCIS: LA Season 12 for.
