There’s a case that may or may not involved a legendary creature in the bayou. Here’s how to watch the NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 finale to get your answers to your burning questions.

Let’s start with the case of the week. The team is called out ot the bayou when a Naval microbiologist is found dead. This microbiologist’s hobby was working as a myth buster, and he was in the search for a legendary creature that lives in the bayou.

Now, we know that the show isn’t afraid to touch on the supernatural side now and then. But is it really willing to make a mythological creature real? More than likely not. While we’ll get some fun and games around the myth—and I’m sure Carter will get to know more about the myths of New Orleans—there’s a real murderer out there. It’s up to the team to figure out who that is.

While that happens, Hannah Khoury has a case of her own. Well, it’s more like a personal endeavor. At the end of the previous episode, she asked Winchester to do some digging into Deputy Director Van Cleef. While she’s taken the demotion on the chin, she knows that there’s something more to it.

Carter hinted that there may be more to it in the previous episode, too. He mentioned someone he worked with at NCIS Pearl Harbor whose career was halted because of Cleef. That person was female, and it looks like Van Cleef has a problem with women in NCIS. With his move into politics, now seems like the perfect time to bring him down.
