Catherine Bell returns to NCIS: LA in the Season 11 finale. Here’s a look at the synopsis to see what to expect in the episode.

We knew that Catherine Bell would return once more to NCIS: LA Season 11. It turns out her episode is the last one filmed of the season. It seems fitting that she’s been part of the premiere and finale of the season, even if that wasn’t initially planned.

What can we expect in the NCIS: LA Season 11 finale? The synopsis gives us an idea, along with another guest star who is returning for the episode.

More from NCIS: LA News

We recently asked the question of whether Agent Roundtree would become a permanent member of the team, especially with Nell’s seemingly permanent exit. Well, it looks like the show is certainly trying to make him a permanent member, as he joins Sam and Callen in Afghanistan on an important but sensitive mission.

Mac has a request for the team when two SEALs claim their chief murdered an unarmed prisoner. It’s not easy taking down one of your own, but as Sam says in the promo, the truth is all that matters. In a position of authority, there’s no way that a SEAL should get away with literal murder.

However, it sounds like the case is much more dangerous. Maybe the chief isn’t the only one willing to kill an unarmed prisoner. And it turns out the team may be dealing with a psychopath. That’s always a lot of fun!

It’s certainly set out to be one of Sam and Callen’s most dangerous missions yet. Of course Roundtree was going to be involved. Let’s hope he doesn’t cause any bombs to go off this time!

Something to be aware of about the finale is that it’s airing at a later time. With the God Friended Me series finale taking up two hours, NCIS: LA is moving to the 10/9c slot. Yes, that means no new episode of NCIS: New Orleans.

NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 22 airs on April 26 at 10/9c on CBS.
