Fans only have to wait until July for NCIS Season 17 on DVD

We all love rewatching NCIS. This is one of those TV crime dramas that never gets old. With NCIS Season 17 ended, you’ll want to own it on DVD. There isn’t long to wait.

NCIS Season 17 is heading to DVD on July 28, 2020. That’s just six weeks left to wait to see Gibbs and his team back in action. Plus there are the bonus features available, such as the deleted scenes and gag reel.

What to expect on the NCIS Season 17 DVD

While there isn’t an official list of releases, there are certain things we can expect with the DVD release. The first is that all episodes will be available.

This was a shorter season than we’re used to. Due to the global health pandemic, filming on the show (and all other TV shows) had to halt abruptly. Shows hadn’t finished filming the season so had to wrap with the last episode filmed in full.

The good news is NCIS is a series that gets away with an abrupt ending. Most of the episodes are cases of the week and many personal storylines spread into other seasons so there was no need to tie up loose ends.

We’ll also likely get some deleted scenes and a gag reel. There may be some featurettes for the show.

For those who need more Gibbs, there’s great news. Season 18 is confirmed and, as long as filming starts on time, will premiere in fall 2020 on CBS.
