What we know about the NCIS Season 18 premiere date on CBS

There isn’t much longer to wait for NCIS Season 18 to premiere on CBS. The show was one of 10 to get a November premiere date.

Usually, we see the agents return to our screens at the end of September. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, that wasn’t possible. Filming only started early September, so we’ve had to wait until now to get an idea of a premiere date. CBS announced in a press release that NCIS Season 18 will premiere on Nov. 17.

More from NCIS News

Everything else remains the same. It’s keeping its Tuesday night timeslot, and for the most part, the cast will be the same. One of the big changes is Maria Bello leaving the show, but we’ll have her for eight episodes to say goodbye to her character, Jack Sloane.

A returning face in the NCIS Season 18 premiere

There is some awesome news about the storyline from the NCIS Season 18 premiere. Joe Spano is back as Agent Fornell. Well, he’s not an agent anymore, but we can’t stop thinking of him as one. He still wants to put the bad guys away.

This case is more personal than most. It links back to a storyline in the previous season when his daughter suffered a drug overdose. Fornell and Gibbs will work together to track down the drug ringleader who supplied drugs to Fornell’s daughter. You don’t want to get in the way of these two!

Meanwhile, the team has to deal with a situation in their own offices. A cadaver goes missing from the autopsy room. It’s all hands on deck to figure out what’s happened. This should mean a lot more Palmer to kick off the season.

NCIS Episode 400 air date

Now that we have the premiere date, we know when the momentous milestone episode will air. NCIS Episode 400 is the second episode of the season, so it will air on Nov. 24.

There is little known about the episode so far, except that we get to see how Gibbs and Ducky met. Mark Harmon’s son, Sean, will take on the role of Young Gibbs again.
