Don’t miss a beat of NCIS: New Orleans Season 7, Episode 2 live

The NCIS: New Orleans Season 7 premiere was a hard watch, especially for those who just adore Loretta (and who doesn’t?). We pick up with where things left off in the premiere with Episode 2. It’s time to get to the bottom of the murder.

Carter and Tammy remain on the ship. They’re not allowed on dry land until the ship gets the all-clear, and that’s not going to happen for now. The problem is they’re at a high risk of getting the virus, and nobody is happy about that. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

Fortunately, Sebastian’s COVID-bug-out bags are going to help. This is the one time we need someone like Sebastian around, someone who is paranoid about all illnesses. On the plus side, both Tammy and Carter are taking all this seriously and are looking out for each other. I’ve loved seeing a bond between them form. Carter is slowly becoming part of the family even if he doesn’t want to.

While they’re on the ship, Pride and his team on land will look for everything they can to figure out who the murderer is. They need to figure out the why now that they know the how.

Loretta helps a grieving woman

We will spend some time with Loretta in the morgue during the episode again. She’s struggling with everything going on, with no place for more bodies and the loss of one of those on the front line. Yet she’s not lost her humanity.

There are many people grieving right now, both on the show and in real life. This episode is going to show us that grief with Loretta back in the light. She’ll be there to help a grieving woman, who has likely lost someone due to the disease.

There is some good that’s to come. Rita is back and surprises Pride. As you know, Chelsea Field is now a series regular, so expect to see more of Rita.
