5 big questions after Big Sky’s winter finale
The 5 big questions for when Big Sky returns in January 2021
Big Sky started with a shocking moment, and the season continued that way. At the end of the winter finale, we’re left wondering if there’s enough content for a full season.
After just five episodes, one of the bad guys has been killed off. Is there anything left after that? Oh, there is probably plenty when you consider all the other seeds that have been sewn throughout the season so far.
There are some major questions from the ending to the Big Sky winter finale. Here are my five big ones that need answering in the winter premiere in January 2021.
Will Cassie face retribution for killing Legarski?
Cassie made a huge decision in killing Legarski at the end of the Big Sky winter finale. She had to do it. There’s no way that Legarski would have allowed her to turn him over to the police without a fight. The problem is she’s killed a cop.
Now, there is the benefit of the girls telling their story. They’ll back Cassie up that Legarski was one of the kidnappers, but will it be enough to protect Cassie? Could she face retribution since it wasn’t exactly self-defense in the setting that it was. Legarski didn’t have the gun aimed at her.
Then there’s his wife. Will she come after Cassie for everything that happened.
Will the charges against Jenny be dropped?
Jenny was arrested for stalking Legarski. While it’s clear the sheriff was sure she was onto something, there was no evidence. He had no choice but to arrest her.
But with everything that’s now happened, Jenny’s actions were justified. If it wasn’t for her and Cassie, those girls would never have been caught in time. The people from Ontario would have arrived.
So, can Jenny’s charges be dropped now? It seems a little pointless to have that storyline running.
How will anyone find Cody’s body?
The girls have been found on Big Sky. They’re safe and they can tell their story, but they won’t help with a particular mystery: Cody Hoyt.
Jenny and Cassie know that he spoke to Legarski. They know that he was supposed to head to a church with Legarski and never made it there. It’s clear that something has happened to Cody, and it’s not that he’s broken his sobriety.
The girls won’t be able to help find him and Legarski is dead. Will Cody’s body ever be found?
Will the people from Ontario get caught?
Legarski thought Cassie was the people from Ontario at the end of the finale. They were supposed to turn up to take the girls off his hands. They were on their way but didn’t get there in time.
Will they turn up to find Legarski’s dead body? Will they turn up just as Cassie calls in everything that happened?
It seems odd to have the people from Ontario in the area and then not do anything with them. They are a bigger part of what’s going on, this whole trafficking storyline. There may be hope for other girls to be found.
How can anyone trace things back to Ronald?
The story isn’t over. Legarski may be gone, but Ronald is still a part in all this. He’s only in it because of Legarski, though.
Nobody really knows Ronald. The girls have seen his face, but that’s it. Cassie even passed by him but thought nothing of him. Legarski’s wife danced with him but didn’t notice anything strange. He is a guy who manages to pass by with his only standout feature being his awkwardness.
How will everything trace back to Ronald? This is how there’s clearly still enough material to fill the season. It’s not over yet.
