The shocking moments from NCIS Season 18, Episode 4

NCIS returned from its winter break with two episodes. We’re splitting them into two posts as there were some excellent moments throughout. NCIS Season 18, Episode 4 gave us some special McGee and Delilah time as they worked together on a case in the Bahamas.

It wasn’t the vacation they expected, but was it really a bad one? Let’s look at the WTF moments from NCIS Season 18, Episode 4 to see.

Everything is happening in the Bahamas

Of course, when you have one of your main characters on vacation in another country, you need to find a way to keep that character in the story. McGee couldn’t possibly just have a vacation. And so, it’s not that surprising that the case Gibbs and co. were working on would link to something in the Bahamas.

It did mean we got to see McGee and Delilah doing something different; something we haven’t seen them do in a long time. They got to work together on a case.

There were a few twists and turns, but in the end, the case was a pretty standard one. That wasn’t why we were watching, right?

McGee’s books get him the info they need

Delilah tries to get the information of the woman who took out McGee earlier in the episode but failed. Even a bribe couldn’t help. It was McGee who managed to get the information.

Well, not really McGee, but his author pseudonym. The woman running the moped rental business is a big fan of McGee’s books and she was more than happy to help…in return for a selfie, of course.

Delilah and McGee have the most fun ever

Throughout NCIS Season 18, Episode 4, Delilah joins McGee on the case. It may be a vacation, but she’s done just hanging around the resort.

In the end, Delilah and McGee realize that they’ve had the most fun than they have had in a long time. Does that make them a bad couple?

Not at all! It makes them human. The two have always been very work orientated, but it’s not often that they get to share in their work together. It’s barely ever that they are working together on a case. They just don’t need to.

So this was different and it was thrilling. It’s not really that surprising they had the most fun ever. They just need to work on that now they’ve realized it.

Clarence is more than just the help

If you smiled at the name Clarence, it’s probably because you’re a fan of It’s a Wonderful Life. You likely knew immediately that this guy wasn’t just a server at the resort.

Of course, Clarence was more of a guardian angel. He’s Gibbs’s military buddy. When there’s a hurricane in the Bahamas and nobody can get in touch with McGee to warn him that the killer is in the same location, Gibbs decides to call on a friend.

It is curious how Clarence knew exactly where McGee was, but hey, we’ll just go with it.

Kasie is pulled in on the Fornell mystery

At the end of the previous episode, Gibbs learned that Fornell hadn’t turned up for work for two weeks. Gibbs is concerned and gets Kasie to ping Fornell’s number, although doesn’t tell her why.

He doesn’t need to say everything. Kasie will keep people’s secret, and she becomes the next person to trust with all this. When Gibbs finds Fornell’s place turned upside down and blood on the floor, Gibbs gets Kasie to run the sample.

Wait, next person? Gibbs has already involved Vance. The three of them will now need to work together to figure out what’s happened to Fornell.

dark. Next. What is Anna really up to on NCIS: LA?
