While some of the big TV crime dramas are off this week, there are certainly still shows to watch. Keeping Faith kicks off the list for this week, April 11–17, 2021.
You’ll get away with broadcast for the majority of the week. It’s only the first option that’s on a streaming service. Acorn TV is the subscription service in mind, and there are some excellent TV crime dramas already available and coming throughout the month.
The first is Keeping Faith. You’ve still got time to catch up on the series with the first two episodes.
5 good TV crime dramas to watch this week
Keeping Faith Season 3
The first two episodes of Keeping Faith will be available on Acorn TV from Monday, April 12. From this point, the show is released on a weekly basis. It’s the final season.
Faith is going through a hostile divorce and a difficult medical-legal case. However, it could be someone else who causes the biggest problems in her life. Her mom is in town, and now Faith is going to start questioning who she is.
While you wait for new episodes, Murdoch Mysteries will also drop a new episode of Season 14 (and the first seven episodes are available with Episode 8 dropping on Monday.)
Prodigal Son Season 2
Been missing the comedic TV crime drama on FOX? Prodigal Son is back from its winter break, and it’s not a moment too soon! That means Michael Sheen’s Martin Whitly is back on our screens.
Simon Hoxley is in New York, looking for anything that will point him in the direction of Endicott’s murderer(s). Malcolm fears that everything is over. Hoxley will figure out it was him and Ainsley. Can Martin protect his children?
Prodigal Son airs on Tuesday, April 13 at 9/8c on FOX.
Big Sky Season 1
Another series you’ve likely missed is Big Sky. The series went on hiatus back in February for filming reasons, and now it’s back.
The first episode is going to wrap up the search for Ronald. After that, we’re getting into a whole new story. It’s time to get a bit of Succession into the story, but will it also turn out a little like The Hunt?
Check out Big Sky on Tuesday, April 13 at 10/9c on ABC.
Nancy Drew Season 2
For those who prefer a little supernatural in their TV crime dramas, Nancy Drew is the show to watch. This episode sees the focus on Ace (is it his first name or his last name?) as he helps his half-brother with a problem.
Meanwhile, Nancy may help to get Everett Hudson off murder just to protect her own life. Would she stoop to that?
Watch Nancy Drew on Wednesday, April 14 at 9/8c on The CW.
The Blacklist Season 8
Finally, we have to wait until the end of the week. After taking a week off, The Blacklist is back, and Red is about to make an out-of-character mistake.
He’s heading to Anne’s for the episode. Of course, people are following him, and it’s going to put Anne’s life in danger, too. That is if we can trust her.
The Blacklist airs on Friday, April 16 at 8/7c on NBC.
