The team needs to save two of their own when four escaped prisoners take control of the courthouse on SWAT Season 4, Episode 16. Don’t miss a beat of the all-new episode.

Hondo and Deacon are the two in trouble during the episode. They’re in the courthouse and have no weapons on them at all. Understandably, they’re not allowed to take their weapons into the courthouse due to a potential situation with escaped prisoners.

Well, the downside is the escaped prisoners are the ones with the weapons, and they are willing to kill. In fact, one of them wants to put a bullet in Hondo’s head. Is this just because he’s found out he could be caught, or is there something personal between him and Hondo? I guess that’s something we’ll have to wait to find out about.

I didn’t see Deacon in the room where Hondo is being held. This suggests he might not have been caught, giving him chance to help his team leader.

Will Hondo get shot on SWAT Season 4, Episode 16?

We know Hondo won’t die. He’s the lead character on the series, and it would be a huge shocker if the writers took him out. Shemar Moore has shown no signs of wanting to leave the series, and it has been renewed for a fifth season.

That doesn’t mean Hondo won’t be shot, though. There’s a chance that he will be injured while being held hostage, which could lead to him needing to take some time off. That could put Deacon temporarily in charge of the team.

What would this mean? Well, Deacon has a few people out for his head right now after he recorded Durham and his friends and turned them into Internal Affairs. Putting Deacon temporarily in charge of the team could put everyone in danger as some of the cops retaliate.

At least we know the rest of the team has each others’ backs.
