We know that NCIS: LA Season 13 is happening. We don’t have a premiere date, but we do know it’s part of the fall schedule. What else do we know?

It’s been one wild ride on NCIS: LA Season 12, and it’s not been the easiest season to follow. There have been some long breaks in between episodes to help with scheduling out the content to wrap up the season in May 2021. After all, the season was slightly shorter than normal due to the pandemic.

However, while the scheduling was rough, the ratings weren’t too far off Season 11’s, and CBS has renewed the show for a 13th season. Now we just need to look ahead at things to come.

We’re keeping this relatively spoiler-free. The Season 12 finale only aired on May 23 and not everyone has had a chance to watch it yet. In a couple of weeks, we’ll update this post with some of the things that happened in the finale and where things can go on NCIS: LA Season 13. You’ll certainly want to bookmark the post.

NCIS: LA Season 13 premiere date

CBS hasn’t released premiere dates yet, but it has released its schedule. While NCIS Season 19 is on the move for the first time ever, NCIS: LA Season 13 isn’t. The show will keep the Sunday night timeslot.

The timing of the episodes will change, especially during football season. When games overrun, the shows tend to be pushed back between 20 and 40 minutes.

We’ll be sure to update when there’s an exact premiere date, but we’re looking at the last week of September.

NCIS: LA Season 13 cast

There are a few cast members we’re expecting to see return for the 13th season:

  • Chris O’Donnell as G. Callen
  • LL Cool J as Sam Hanna
  • Daniela Ruah as Kensi Blye
  • Eric Christian Olsen as Marty Deeks
  • Medalion Rahimi as Fatima Namazi
  • Caleb Castille as Devin Roundtree

There are some characters whose appearances are a little more up in the air. This is based on up to the season finale and not the end events. We’ll update this once people have had a chance to check out the finale.

  • Linda Hunt as Hetty
  • Barrett Foa as Eric Beale
  • Renée Felice Smith as Nell Jones

Update: Foa and Smith aren’t returning for Season 13 as series regulars, but the door is open if they would like to pop in where there is a story available. Hunt will return for Season 13.

Gerald McRaney has been upped to series regular, so expect more Kilbride.

NCIS: LA Season 13 trailer

There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet, which isn’t all too surprising. The show hasn’t started filming yet, and we’re not expecting a trailer until much closer to the premiere date.

NCIS: LA Season 13 synopsis

We don’t have a synopsis. The benefit of this series is that it doesn’t need a synopsis for the season. We know that the team will figure out the case of the week each episode and there will e some personal development for each of the characters, with episodes focused on particular characters.
