Outer Banks Season 2 has brought us another wild ride. Now we’re waiting for Outer Banks Season 3, and here’s what we know so far.

The second season took us on another wild ride. It all started with getting the gold and moved onto getting a gold cross. At first, Kie, Pope, and JJ thought John B and Sarah had died, but it didn’t take too long for the two Pogues in the Bahamas to get a message to their friends.

Everyone ended up together at the end of the second season. There’s even a new member of the Pogues, but that’s not all that happened. We got a major reveal at the very end about John B’s father, something that we arguably didn’t see coming.

Now we need a third season. Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed it, but we’re sure it’s going to happen. Here’s what we expect to see on Outer Bank Season 3.

Outer Banks Season 3 release date predictions

The season hasn’t been confirmed yet. That doesn’t mean it isn’t going to happen, but we’re not expecting renewal news for at least a month.

That being said, we are expecting a renewal. With that, we can predict a release date. Most Netflix shows take 14 months between seasons. It did take 15 and a half months for Season 2 of Outer Banks, but that was also linked to filming during the pandemic. There’s a chance filming can get off without a hitch this time, so the end of September 2021 is possible.

Outer Banks Season 3 cast

All four Pogues are set to return. That means we’ll see:

• Chase Stokes as John B Routledge
• Madison Bailey as Kiara “Kie” Carrera
• Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward
• Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank
• We’ll also see the newer members of the Pogues:
• Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron
• Carlacia Grant as Cleo

Then there are the following members of the Cameron family:

• Charles Esten as Ward Cameron
• Drew Starkey as Rafe Cameron
• Julia Antonelli as Wheezie Cameron
• Caroline Arapoglou as Rose

And we can’t forget Austin North as Topper, even if he didn’t have that much of a large role during the second season and has been left behind.

Outer Banks Season 3 synopsis

It looks like the Camerons have everything. They have the gold and the gold cross. However, Ward does this knowing that he’s lost his elder daughter.

Meanwhile, the Pogues are stranded on an island for now. They need to regroup and figure out what to do. Will they bother chasing the gold anymore? They’re sure to be pulled into the drama considering the big reveal at the end.

Limbrey went to pay someone a visit at the end of the season. That someone was John B’s father! Oh yes, Big John survived, so why has he made it look like he’s been dead all this time?
