Anyway, this case is personal for the team. When the hacker attacks life-saving equipment at hospitals around the country, the team will need to work together to bring it all to an end.

Based on the title, this is a “hacktivist,” which means raising awareness or wanting something other than the usual money. It’s usually someone who thinks they’re doing good without considering or caring about all the lives they’re affecting.

It turns out the hacker wants police to investigate deaths at a local psychiatric facility. Yes, these deaths are likely something that should be investigated, but the hacker isn’t going the right way to get it done.

A personal case on FBI Season 4, Episode 2

The case gets extremely personal. Jubal’s son is waiting for surgery, and he’s at one of the hospitals that’s being affected by the hacker. This puts Jubal’s son’s life at risk, and there is absolutely no way that Jubal or the team will settle for this.

It could mean tensions are high, though. As Jubal takes things personally, he ends up putting extra pressure on all members of the team. Isobel might need to step in to calm some situations down during the episode. Jubal will know that there’s a conflict of interest, and Isobel will want to keep him off the case. It’s not going to be easy.
