We certainly miss Erin Lindsey on Chicago PD. That doesn’t mean we don’t support Bush for leaving. She did what she had to do, and we’ve been excited to see her return to screens in another show. That time is now.
Bush will star in the series Good Sam. The medical drama also stars Jason Isaacs, who is sure to bring his own fanbase to the series.
What to expect on Good Sam?
Bush plays Sam Griffiths, a talented surgeon who becomes the Chief of Surgery when her boss falls into a coma. When her former boss wakes up, he expects to return to his regular duties, but that’s not the case. Sam keeps her position.
It’s made all the more complicated when it turns out her former boss is also her dad. Naturally, the two don’t see eye-to-eye, and they’ll need to find a way to work together for the good of their patients.
We’ll also get to see the other doctors at the hospital the Griffiths work at. They’ll struggle to figure out who they’re following at first, so Sam will need to make sure she stands out as the leader.
Father and daughter will need to work on fixing their own relationship outside the hospital as well as inside. This is sure to be a great drama that focuses on family as well as the medical mysteries they’ll be faced with.
