The newest NCIS team is taking over Sunday night for this week. Don’t miss a beat of NCIS: Hawaii Season 1, Episode 12 live on CBS.

Yes, it’s Sunday night. NCIS: Hawaii does usually air on Mondays, but there’s a small change to the schedule this week. Since the AFC Championship game has been pushed back, CBS is using it to its advantage.

The network is invested in the NCIS franchise. Right now, it wants to give the newest series a boost, and the best way to do that is to put the episode on after a huge football game. We’ve seen a lot of other shows gain a new audience by doing this.

There will still be a normal episode on Monday, too. In fact, this change to the schedule is working in our favor since we’re getting a two-parter episode running back-to-back nights instead of waiting a week.

What to expect on NCIS: Hawaii Season 1, Episode 12

This case is going to be on the personal side for Jane Tennant. It involves her mentor and friend, Maggie Shaw. Maggie met with a Navy engineer who has now turned up dead.

That engineer? He’s called Joseph Chan, and there is clearly much more to this case. Sure, Maggie was the last person he spoke to, but he may have a connection to a Chinese black op secret agent. This is where a New Zealand intelligence service case officer comes into the story. David Sola is looking for answers in Hawaii.

That’s a lot going on. It’s no wonder it’s been split into two parts. Get ready for the first part tonight.

Take a look at the NCIS: Hawaii Season 1, Episode 12 synopsis:
