After dealing with a case of Hondo being framed, the team is back together in SWAT Season 5, Episode 17. Here’s everything you need for tonight’s episode.
During the 100th episode of SWAT, we watched the team work together after Hondo was framed for the murder of two cops. There were some moments where we thought Hondo was going to go down for something he didn’t do, but at no point did his team doubt him.
As soon as it all came out, the entire team stood behind Hondo. They put their own jobs on the line to help clear his name, and that didn’t go amiss for Hondo.
The case itself linked back to the events in Mexico at the start of the season. It was a great way to tie up events down there and make for one epic 100th episode. Now it’s time to move forward with the team back together acting legally.
Deadly explosions in SWAT Season 5, Episode 17
The case of the week involves some deadly explosions in Los Angeles. These explosions are hitting the oil derricks across the city, which is going to cause a lot of problems for the local people. The team will need to hunt down those responsible.
It turns out that it’s a group of activists attacking the oil derricks. When they don’t get the responses they want, they turned to terrorism to make their voices heard.
Meanwhile, it looks like helping Hondo is rubbing off on Deacon in another way. He and his wife will help a reformed drug deal, who may have been sent down for a murder he didn’t commit. Will Deacon turn to the team for help with this?
