"Pilot" - Special Agent Scott Forrester and his Budapest-based FBI fly team head to Croatia after Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza, FBI) enlists their help to capture an American fugitive who escaped to Zagreb with a 14-year-old girl. Tuesday nights have become all about the FBI franchise. We got to meet the Fly Team this season. Will we see the team back in action in FBI: International tonight, Tuesday, May 31?

We’re onto another Tuesday night, and naturally, you’ll want to check in with the Fly Team. The way the previous episode ended, of course there are a lot of questions. There is some bad news, though.

There isn’t going to be a new episode of FBI: International tonight. The previous episode was the season finale, and that means we’re into a long break. The good news is there is a rerun on tonight. It’s time to jump back into the 14th hour of the series, which saw the team look for a way to keep a U.S. attorney general safe while in Hungary in the midst of a security breach.

Why isn’t a new episode of FBI: International on tonight?

As mentioned, the previous episode was the season finale. That means there are no more episodes to air this season. The show is on its summer break, and now we wait for the return.

The good news si we will see a return. FBI: International Season 2 is happening. In fact, we also know a third season will happen. CBS gave us the great news that the show (along with the other two in the franchise) has been renewed for two seasons.

When will new episodes of FBI: International return?

We need to wait out the summer. This break is about four months long, but we are looking at the second season premiering in September. CBS has confirmed that it will remain in the fall schedule, keeping its Tuesday 9 p.m. ET/PT timeslot.

The question is when the premiere date will be, but CBS hasn’t confirmed that. We’re not expecting a date announcement until the summer, but we are looking at around the last week of September for the series to come back.
