Fall TV is back, and FBI is one of the first shows to return. Don’t miss a beat of the FBI Season 5 premiere wth these details.

We’re certainly ready for FBI Season 5. We didn’t get the finale last season. Because the show involved an attack on a school, CBS made the understandable decision to pull the episode from the schedule because of the Texas elementary school shooting on the same day. We still haven’t had that episode air.

So, now we’re curious about how the FBI Season 5 premiere is going to work. There’s a good chance that the personal storylines that were planned for the finale have been written into the premiere episode. This allows the continuity there while finding a different standalone case for the episode.

What to expect in the FBI Season 5 premiere

The episode will see the team have to pivot from their current sting operation. They’re supposed to be securing a massive bomb threat from an illegal broker. However, the device is already in the wrong hands, and now they need to figure out who. What could someone else want with this bomb?

The personal storyline is focused on Jubal. He promises to be at his son’s birthday party, but that promise is put to the test. Can he make it, or will work come first again?

This could be the storyline that was supposed to be covered in the finale. We know the finale involved a threat at Jubal’s son’s school, which could have led to Jubal making promises that he couldn’t necessarily keep.

Another personal storyline we’re hoping to see if the focus on Nina sticking around for a little longer. Maggie isn’t coming back until later in the fall and maybe even into 2023 as Missy Peregrym only returns to filming from maternity leave this fall.
