We are heading back to Helena for another case. What will Jenny and Cassie face in the Big Sky Season 3 premiere, and how can we watch it live online?

Things have quietened down in Helena for some time. That is until we check back in during the Big Sky Season 3 premiere. Also known as Big Sky: Deadly Trails, this season is going to focus on a new case and a new villain.

We’ll meet Sunny Barnes in the new episode. She’s set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town along with her family, and people are heading out for the excursions into the Montana wilderness. It’s supposed to be a lot of fun, but things start to go awry as soon as they move in.

When a backpacker goes missing, Cassie is called in to investigate the case. She teams up with Jenny and new sheriff, Beau, to solve the case.

What’s going on in the Big Sky Season 3 premiere?

The new episode will see Jensen Ackles return. He stepped in during the Season 2 finale as acting sheriff when Tubb was seriously injured. Well, he’s sticking around for a little longer, but just how long? When is Tubb coming back, or will Jenny end up getting that promotion Tubb wanted for her?

For now, she’ll have to work with Beau. He seemed a little eye-rollingly annoying at first, but he proved that he does trust Jenny’s instincts. He’s looking forward to working with her more, and that’s a good thing considering the case.

The two will need to track down a murderer, and it likely has something to do with this missing backpacker. What is going on in Helena this year?

"It’s been a few months of relative peace in Helena, but all that’s about to change when Sunny Barnes and her family set up Sunny Day Excursions just outside of town. From the moment they arrive, things begin to go awry, with Cassie being called in to investigate a missing backpacker and the new sheriff in town, Beau, partnering up with Jenny to track down a murderer on the loose.
