Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 2 preview: A break in the case?

Roz and Eileen continue their work into the case of the missing girl in Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 2. Yuna learns success comes with a price.

As soon as Eileen saw that things didn’t add up, she had to get to the bottom of the case. The thing is, Roz has wanted this piece for years. She also needs to be one of those on the story. After all, she looks like those who have gone missing. It’s going to be much easier for her to get the Native American women to talk to her about their missing children.

It already worked in the first episode. This case is far more personal to Roz than Eileen. Her own cousin is one of the missing women who police have never really bothered looking for. She knows that others will face the same, and it’s up to her and Eileen to get to the bottom of this.

That’s what they’ll continue to do in the new episode. Eileen decides to pull in a favor to help them investigate, which could lead to a break in the case.

Yuna realizes success comes with consequences in Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 2

Considering Eileen was supposed to be a bully to her female underlings, she was great with Yuna Park. When Yuna decided not to run the story because of what it could do to a family, Eileen helped Yuna realize that she had to tell the story. Eileen could have taken it, but she decided to support and lift another woman up—something we should all be doing.

Now Yuna is going to see what success brings. Sure, it’s a great boost, but there are people out there who won’t like the story.

As she does that, we’ll see Claire investigate the closing of a local favorite eatery. It’s being sold to a huge corporation, but what’s really going on? That’s what she needs to figure out.
