Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 4 preview: Another day, another threat

Eileen receives another package in Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 4, and this one includes a very real threat. What will she do next?

You know you’re hitting something important when you start receiving death threats. Since arriving in Alaska, Eileen has had someone tell her to “go home.” There’s someone out there who doesn’t want her reporting on this story, but she’s not afraid of a mysterious voice.

Well, whoever it is has upped their game in the new episode. During Episode 4, titled “The Weekend,” she’ll get a package. As well as a note to tell her to leave, she gets a threatening gift. It’s a bullet. This is getting serious, and she will want to watch her back.

That’s probably not going to stop her from investigating, though. She wants to get to the bottom of these missing Indigenous women. That’s especially the case now that it’s clear everyone is working against finding this group of missing and dead women.

Gabriel ends up in trouble in Alaska Daily Season 1, Episode 4

Meanwhile, Gabriel gets to write his first story. He starts off just talking to someone at the local fair, but it’s clear there’s something much bigger going on. He needs to start investigating, but it could put him in a spot of trouble. When he sees something that a man doesn’t want him to, his life could be on the line.

What I love from the promo is that Eileen is offering him advice. This move to Alaska isn’t just about her finding professional redemption. She’s after some personal redemption, and that means being more of a nurturing force instead of the type of teacher she had when she started her career. She’s already been a great support for Yuna, and now it’s time for Gabriel to receive some sound words of advice.
