What to expect in Blue Bloods season 13 episode 5: Homefront

Things are about to hit close to the homefront for the Reagan family which is going to put the family’s patriarch in quite an interesting spot this week.

As the title for this week’s new episode of Blue Bloods suggests, the Reagan family homefront is about to come under attack this time when the family is harassed in connection to protests against a controversial NYPD unit.

Beyond the tease of the family being harassed, it’s unclear exactly which members of the family come under attack and how far the protesters take things. However, things apparently get so bad that Frank is forced to launch an investigation into the harassment of his family, which is a decision he likely did not take lightly.

While the primary focus of this week’s new episode will focus on the Reagan family and Frank’s investigation into the attacks against them, there are a lot of other juicy storylines set to play out across the episode as well.

It seems Danny will once again be going undercover in connection to his and Baez’s latest case, and this time he’ll do so via an unlikely partnership with an informant. Elsewhere, tensions will be rising between Erin and Frank’s Dream Team after her office decides to make a deal with the man who attacked Baker.

Also, Danny and Baez form an unlikely partnership with an informant in order to prevent a murder; Eddie lands in hot water after she defies a direct order; and conflict arises between Erin and the Dream Team when the D.A.’s office strikes a deal with Baker’s assailant."

As you might expect, with the Reagan family attack on the homefront, many of this week’s first-look images for tonight’s new episode put a focus on the Reagan family dinner. There are also some telling shots of Frank and Henry in what we imagine will be an intense conversation between the pair as Frank looks to protect his family without blurring any lines.
