Last week, Big Sky took a brief break as ABC turned over its primetime lineup to the Country Music Awards but ABC’s hit crime drama is finally back this evening!

Episode 7 brought with it many shocking developments beginning with Sunny and Buck coming up with a plan to cover up the murder of Mary. It seemed like they came up with a fool-proof plan, but things took a bit of an unexpected turn when Emily found Mary’s body early after getting turned around in the woods when following Luke. The discovery of Mary’s body was one that turned Sunny Day Excursions upside down and is sure to raise a lot of red flags when the police show up this week.

Speaking of Luke, he found himself in quite an interesting predicament when he stumbled upon Paige and Walter in the woods as the episode ended. Given how things ended between Luke and Paige, it’s going to be interesting to see how the confrontation goes… and if it will end with a deadly twist.

Big Sky Duck Hunting promo and synopsis

Following the discovery of Mary’s body, Jenny and Beau will be heading out to Sunny Day Excursions as an investigation into her death officially begins. As the pair work the case, lies will begin to unravel and there’s no telling what secrets might be exposed.

Interestingly, it seems there’s about to be another major development for one member of the Barnes family — one that could prove to be the downfall of others.

Here’s how ABC describes tonight’s new episode:

"“The investigation for the killer continues as Jenny and Beau confine the campers to the campsite in an effort to unravel their lies. Meanwhile, Cassie and Cormac’s romance heats up, leading Cormac to confess his parents might not be as innocent as they want others to believe.”"
