What to expect in Blue Bloods season 13 episode 6: On Dangerous Ground

Last week, Blue Bloods fans were met with a disappointing surprise when settling in on their couches to enjoy some time with the Reagan family.

Instead of airing a new episode as it had been doing for the last several weeks, CBS instead was airing a rerun of an older episode of the show. In fact, CBS decided to air reruns of its entire Friday night lineup on Friday instead of keeping the momentum going with new episodes of Blue Bloods, SWAT, and Fire Country. 

The good news is that, after taking one week off, season 13 will resume tonight as CBS brings fans a fresh new Blue Bloods — one which is about to see two members of the Reagan clan at odds, or as we like to call it another week in the life of the Reagans.

Blue Bloods season 13 episode 6 synopsis

In this week’s new episode, Danny and Jamie are about to once again find themselves at odds when their paths cross on the job. While working on a gang-related case, it seems Jamie is about to do some overstepping which his brother Danny isn’t going to take too lightly. Given that this is the first time the two brothers will be clashing after Jamie accepted his new job, it’s going to be interesting to see how things shake out.

Elsewhere in the episode, it seems another pair of Reagan family members’ lives are about to cross paths in a less than-opportune manner when Erin’s office jeopardizes a case connected to her nephew, Joe.

"Danny and Jamie clash over a gang-related shooting after Jamie oversteps as part of his new position and Danny empathizes too closely with a victim. Also, Erin and Anthony search for answers when a lawyer in their office jeopardizes a case involving Erin’s nephew, Joe Hill (Will Hochman); and Frank grows concerned when he’s not invited to speak at a policing forum."
