Can I just start with the ending to The Rookie last week? Tim has taken a desk job to be with Lucy. This is huge.

For one thing, I love how the show made it clear that their relationship wasn’t appropriate and Tim couldn’t stay in Lucy’s chain of command. For a second, I just love how Tim is willing to take a job that will bore him to stay with Lucy so she doesn’t have to end up in a bad precinct. This tells us everything we need to know about how Tim feels about Lucy, and I just hope he can always remember that he loves her when he’s bored at his desk job.

What to expect in The Rookie Season 5, Episode 13

The new episode of the OG series brings us a heatwave. There are a lot of shows that focus on heatwaves because they are very common in LA. And yes, they do lead to higher crime rates and problems with the electrical grid.

It looks like some criminals are taking advantage of the heatwave—or maybe they’ve realized they need to take care of their dead body? And what’s going on with Juarez? Will she survive?

What to expect in The Rookie: Feds Season 1, Episode 13

The second hour of the night is all about the new Niecy Nash-Betts series. It’s also going to see one of the characters go down. Carter is the one who goes down after the team is made during their undercover op.

This undercover op is actually supposed to be Brendon and Antoinette’s first date. That’s going to be an interesting story to tell the kids in the future.
