Simone is supposed to be working inventory, but she ends up coming across a case that involves a hitman making the murders look like accidents.

Of course, Simone needs to show her work for this one. People aren’t just going to take her at her word. We’ve seen how some will look down on Simone and others like her just because she can sometimes have an overactive imagination. This probably is one of those cases.

Meanwhile, Carter will do whatever he can to prove Fortune’s innocence. That means delving into evidence and paperwork. As all that goes on, there’s an evidence thief around. Laura and Brendon will need to get to the bottom of that.
