Will Trent preview: Will takes a young boy under his wing
Will Trent has a new episode this week that promises to put Will into a more personal case than ever.
The ABC series had taken a few weeks off in March but returned on Tuesday, March 21 with a bold new episode. Faith had been in the courthouse when a man convicted of murdering a cop escaped and took her as a hostage.
Faith soon discovered the man was innocent as it was another cop behind the killing, who then framed Faith for murder. Thankfully, Will believed in his partner’s innocence and was able to talk Omerwood into helping him out. Eventually, the pair rescued Faith and cleared the names of her and the convict.
Meanwhile, Angie was thrown to discover that the foster father who molested her and got her pregnant as a teenager, was out of jail. She confronted him with the man claiming to be sorry and that he’d changed. However, Angie was worried about seeing him leaving with his stepdaughter, sending her to seek Will for comfort.
This should lead to a more emotional episode this week that has Will reaching out to aid a child in need.

“Pterodactyls Can Fly” has Will taking a personal interest in a case where a young boy is the sole survivor of a killing. The orphan Will obviously feels for the child and tries to protect him against the killer.
It also sounds like Angie is in for a rough time as her suspicions of her foster father may drive her back into drinking or making another huge mistake to put her career at risk.
This should make for a dramatic episode as Will Trent enters the final run of the current season and prepares for the season 1 finale.
