True Lies has a new episode this week, which has Harry and Helen realizing that dealing with terrorists is one thing, but handling teenagers is a task that may be beyond them.

The CBS adaptation of the James Cameron spy comedy has been doing better building up its characters. The last episode had Helen engage in an unlikely friendship with the Wolf (Matthew Lillard), a seemingly quirky man who was really a stone-cold assassin. Harry was suspicious of the guy and not happy everyone else, including Helen, fawned over him.

The Wolf did end up stopping an attack while recommending Helen to be promoted to a full-field agent. Harry also admitted he was worried about Helen being in the field but happy to know his wife was so capable.

With Helen now a full agent, she’ll be taking a bigger part in several missions, which will include a big one this week.

Check out a trailer and synopsis for True Lies Season 1, Episode 5

“Unrelated Parents” has the team tracking a hacker whose possession of missile codes could kick off a war in the Middle East. To their shock, the guy is a teenager, so Harry and Helen decide to use their parenting skills to coax him to talk. However, the pair are in for a harsh lesson that they’re not quite the expert parents they thought they were.

The episode is likely to play into comedy, with Harry and Helen more worried about how they parent their own kids than stopping a war. The promo shows some action, yet the Taskers facing their own problems as parents might be the more intriguing part of this episode.
