Originally set to be 10 episodes, we got an extra one to complete the story. Eileen and Roz are so close to getting to the truth about Gloria’s murder. It wasn’t the man the police have arrested, but they need to find a way to get someone to listen closely and take them seriously.
They’re in a race against time. An innocent man is about to be convicted for Gloria’s murder. Who will listen to them to when there is already so much bias against Indigenous people? One thing I hope this series does is make more people look at the very real bias in the world against Indigenous people and notice the lack of support for the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women out there.
While all that happens, the rest of the journalists are worried about a new Alaskan newspaper starting up. What will this mean for their jobs? Then there are Eileen and Roz who need to figure out what they want to do with their careers after this story is over.
