We know we’re coming to the end of NCIS: Los Angeles, and that means we don’t want to wait for new episodes. What’s going on with the CBS schedule tonight, Sunday, April 2?
With NCIS: Los Angeles coming to an end, we want as many episodes as possible. That means we don’t want a break in the schedule, especially when the series finale date is set. There is some bad news tonight, though.
There is not a new episode of the crime drama on tonight, Sunday, April 2. We don’t even get a rerun tonight. CBS will air the 2023 CMT Music Awards, and it can’t show both things in the same timeslot. All of Sunday night’s programming is preempted for the awards show.
The good news is that Paramount+ has us covered. You can watch whichever episode of the series aired so far that you want, including the earlier seasons, on the streaming platform.
When will NCIS: Los Angeles return with new episodes on CBS?
The break is on the longer side than we would like. There isn’t going to be a new episode next Sunday, April 9. It is Easter Sunday, so that news shouldn’t be too surprising. A lot of people travel on Easter Weekend, so the networks are likely to take breaks from all its regular programming.
The good news is the series is set to return on Sunday, April 16. We don’t have any details about the new episode as of yet, which, again, isn’t that surprising. The break is too long for CBS to reveal details just yet.
We do know when the show will come to an end, and sadly, it is an end. The series finale will air over two weeks, with the A Salute to NCIS: Los Angeles airing straight after the final of the two episodes.
NCIS: Los Angeles is available to stream on Paramount+.
