After taking a two-week break from seeking new justice, McCall and her team are back. They have their work cut out for them in the new episode as it involves the murder of a Congresswoman and an immigrant.

A Venezuelan migrant is accused of murder. He and his family worked for this congresswoman, and now McCall needs to figure out whether he really was involved or not. Of course, he says that he wasn’t, but anyone can say that. He does seem like the perfect fall guy for someone who did want the congresswoman dead, though.

Meanwhile, we’ll get to see more of Aunt Vi. She wants to help a student who seems to have a distressing home life. Can she help this student trust her enough to talk to her?

When do new episodes of The Equalizer air on CBS?

The new episode will air tonight, Sunday, April 16. We’ll get the episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT as usual, with new episodes of East New York and NCIS: Los Angeles following.
