We are more than ready to see a new episode of NCIS, but is CBS ready for us? What’s going on with the schedule on Monday, April 24?
As much as we’re ready for a new episode of NCIS, the network isn’t ready for us. There isn’t a new episode of the series on tonight, Monday, April 24. That isn’t too surprising when you consider that we’d previously shared there wouldn’t be new episodes for the rest of April.
The good news is there is a rerun on tonight. However, it’s going to be a bit of a longer wait for a new episode. Just how long is that wait?
When will a new episode of NCIS air on CBS?
The wait isn’t much longer. The great news is there will be a new episode next Monday, May 1. We even get an idea of what’s going to happen.
The promo that’s now out shows Knight rescuing a mother and child after a car crash. Of course, with the age of cell phones, Knight ends up going viral for the rescue. That wouldn’t usually worry her, but there’s something else going on with this situation that turns into a case. The mother is on the run from someone or something, and the team will need to get to the bottom of it. Going viral isn’t helpful for the mother.
Has the mother committed a crime? Is she on the run from a violent partner? There are going to be all sorts of questions that go on in Knight’s mind with the case.
This is the last break this season. The show will now air the remaining episodes of Season 20 week after week until the finale at the end of May. The good news is we know the show will be back for another season in the 2023–2024 season.
