After a few weeks off, Law & Order is finally back for the last episodes of Season 22. Here are the Law & Order spoilers for what to expect on Season 22, Episode 19.

Law & Order has been busy in Season 22 and just earned a renewal for another season to continue its epic run as an institution. It’s been taking a few weeks off in April as NBC wanted a fresh run of episodes leading to the season finale on Thursday, May 18.

The last new episode on Thursday, April 6 had the detectives investigating a woman who died of an otherwise treatable illness. It was revealed she had been tied to a cult, with the implication their female leader was getting the women to share secrets to use for blackmail. In the victim’s case, it was revealing her famous mother was having an affair.

The prosecutors realized it was a man running things and went after him in a complex case that eventually found him guilty. That was an intriguing one-off episode, as this week’s installment focuses on another case deeper than it seems.

“Private Lives” has the detectives investigating the murder of a doctor but believe his politician wife may have been the true target. The promo hints that the doctor was involved in some illegal surgeries on minors, which could be a motive for justifiable homicide.

It looks like another case where things aren’t what they appear to be and put Law & Order on another bizarre mystery.

"Cosgrove and Shaw investigate the murder of a family physician whose outspoken politician wife suspects she was the intended target. Price and Maroun’s case hangs in the balance when the defense calls one of the doctor’s young patients to testify as a witness.”"
