The Company You Keep is back with the penultimate episode of Season 1, boasting a big-name guest star. Here are The Company You Keep spoilers for Season 1, Episode 9.
The latest episode had Charlie concerned when Leo seemed to brush off an appointment with his doctor. It turned out Leo was trying to pull a con on Davey Solcum, the man who stole the pensions of Leo and scores of mill workers, driving him into his life of crime.
Despite his reluctance, Charlie aided Leo in pulling a big scam on Solcum. It worked only for Leo to be arrested for stealing the guy’s watch as “back pay.” Emma stepped in to get him released, showing she did care for the family.
This came after Emma and Birdie worked together in an effective scam to target a high-profile judge that led to Maguire being released from prison. Maguire then reached out to both Daphne and Connor to settle their differences and join together as a family.
Meanwhile, Emma was worried about David getting in too deep with campaign manager Jen. That led to his father confessing to his past affair with Claire Fox and David realizing distancing himself from this might be a good idea.
That led to a one-week break, but the series is back on Sunday and with a major guest star to boot.

“The Truth Shall Set You Free” is notable for guest-starring Emmy-award winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk) as Fran’s former fiancee. He seems to be on good terms with the family and has a big offer to buy the bar, but they seem wary of his true intentions.
Meanwhile, Emma and Daphne form an unlikely alliance against the other Maguires. This has Charlie in the middle, as both ladies clearly have an attraction for him. Also, David makes a bold move that can shake up his family.
With just one episode left until the Season 1 finale and no word yet on a possible Season 2, fans of The Company You Keep will want to tune into this episode to see how it possibly ends.
"“Realizing they want the same thing, Emma and Daphne agree to work together to take down the Maguires; the Nicolettis consider selling the bar when a great offer comes their way; David announces he is done with politics.”"
